Step 1: Respond to Your Call for Help

Step 2: Inspect the Home and Assess the Damage

At the scheduled time, a trained technician will arrive at your home or business to inspect for suspected microbial growth. We look in hidden areas that may not be obvious at first glance. If the suspected microbial growth is over 10 square feet or we can’t find any evidence of mold, we suggest hiring an air quality hygienist. They will collect mold samples and send them to a lab for testing. If they find mold, they will write a protocol for us to follow for proper remediation.

Step 3: Contain the Existing Mold

After confirming the presence of mold, our first task is to prevent it from spreading throughout the building. We turn off fans and air conditioning systems, then isolate the area with negative air chambers and HEPA air scrubbers. These strategies help keep the mold confined and prevent it from spreading to unaffected areas of the structure.

Step 4: Filter the Air

We clean your indoor air with HEPA filters and powerful HEPA vacuums that essentially scrub the air. This step is essential for removing spores from the environment and reducing contamination to bring air quality to an acceptable level. Our goal is to return the level of airborne spores to the natural level of the outside environment. Most customers notice an immediate improvement in air quality.

Step 5: Remove Mold and Infested Building Materials

We handle the removal of infested building materials such as drywall, insulation, wallpaper, and carpeting that cannot be salvaged. Our mold remediation specialists clean all other contaminated structures with antifungal and antimicrobial treatments to remove existing mold and prevent new spores from establishing themselves.
